Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on EGSHQ. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Forum Rules

    1. Treat all members with respect. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks will not be tolerated. #
    2. Post content suitable for all members. Explicit, offensive, illegal, porn, or excessively graphic material is prohibited. #
    3. Do not intentionally provoke arguments, disrupt discussions, or create drama within the community. #
    4. Keep discussions relevant to the forum section you are posting in. Off-topic posts may be moved or removed. #
    5. Do not impersonate staff members, content creators, streamers, or other community members. #
    6. Occasional mild language may be acceptable, but excessive profanity or abusive language is not permitted. #
    7. Do not post copyrighted material, pirated software, unauthorized downloads, or content that violates intellectual property rights. #
    8. To ensure moderation and community participation, public forum posts should be written in English. #
    9. Do not excessive beg for money, game keys, gifts, premium memberships, accounts, or in-game items from other members. #

  2. User Account

    1. Usernames must remain respectful and may not contain offensive or inappropriate material. #
    2. Avatars must remain respectful and may not contain offensive or inappropriate material. #
    3. Signatures content must remain respectful and may not contain offensive or inappropriate material. #
    4. Profile content must remain respectful and may not contain offensive or inappropriate material. #
    5. Members are responsible for their own accounts. Sharing, selling, or transferring accounts is prohibited. #

  3. Spamming

    1. Do not post repetitive messages, advertisements, referral links, or excessive promotional content without staff approval. #

  4. Protect Privacy

    1. Do not share personal information about yourself or others, including addresses, phone numbers, or private messages. #

  5. Cheating or Exploits

    1. Discussions promoting hacks, cheats, exploits, account theft, or other unfair gaming practices are not allowed. #

  6. Report Issues

    1. Use the report feature on posts or our contact us page to notify staff of rule violations instead of responding publicly and escalating conflicts. #

  7. Policing

    1. Moderators and administrators are responsible for maintaining order. Repeatedly ignoring staff instructions may result in disciplinary action. #
    2. Violations of these rules may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on the severity and frequency of the offense. #
    3. EGSHQ Elite Gaming Soldiers HQ reserves the right to modify these rules at any time to ensure a safe and enjoyable community experience. #
